    Parent & baby fitness

    Circuit-based workouts for strength, endurance and mental wellbeing. Your baby lays or plays nearby — no childcare needed.

  • A coach demonstrating a pregnancy-safe exercise at a Startstrong Fitness CIC session

    Prenatal support

    Tailored exercise for pregnancy, including support for preeclampsia, gestational diabetes and high BMI. Modifications for every stage.

  • A group of parents taking part in a postnatal fitness class together

    Postnatal recovery

    Physical and mental recovery after birth, including PNA and PND support. A space to connect and rebuild at your pace.

Common questions

Are classes really free?
Yes. Startstrong Fitness CIC is grant and council funded, so there is no cost to attend. Financial barriers should never stop you from joining.
Who can come?
Pregnant women, new mums and dads — all fitness levels welcome. Babies up to around 18 months can come along.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes, a water bottle and whatever your baby needs for the session. We provide all exercise equipment, mats and toys.
What if I'm new to exercise or recovering from birth?
Every exercise is adapted to your body and stage. Our coaches are pre and postnatal specialists — you will never be pushed beyond what is right for you.
